Komal Gaur - Co-Founder
Komal’s journey into design began early, driven by a deep love for art, craft, and creativity. What started as a passion soon evolved into a profession when she stepped into the world of interior design and architecture right after college. With experience working alongside reputed brands like Nivasa, Apartment 9, Alsorg, and Livspace, Komal brings a strong design sensibility combined with hands-on execution expertise. She joined The Story Tellers in 2018 as Co-Founder and Design Head, where she leads projects with a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and emotion. Komal believes that interior design is more than just patterns, colors, and lighting — it’s about crafting spaces with soul. Known for her client-first approach, she treats every project like a personal commitment, creating homes that are warm, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful.
Lakshay Vashisht - Co-Founder
Lakshay’s path into interior design is rooted in people and purpose. Coming from a Human Resources background, he discovered his calling while designing his own home — a moment that sparked a full-time shift into interior design and architecture. He thrives on collaboration and execution, having worked with industry names such as Livspace, Chalk Studio, and several other partners to successfully deliver complex design projects. With a strong focus on planning, coordination, and on-ground delivery, Lakshay ensures that every design vision is translated seamlessly into reality. Over time, he expanded the team by onboarding skilled designers and architects, building a strong foundation for scalable growth. Lakshay is passionate about creating inviting spaces filled with warmth, comfort, and character — homes that truly feel lived in.
